Our Beliefs

  • There is only one true God, Creator of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving and truthful. He has revealed Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

  • The Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative written Word of God.

  • Humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, but willfully rejected the Lordship of God and the glory for which we were intended. Because of this, sin and its results- shame, guilt, hatred, violence, sickness, death, etc. – entered the world, and all creation now experiences the effects of sin.

  • Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is God’s Anointed Savior (Christ, Messiah).  He was empowered by the Holy Spirit to work miracles and announce the present availability of God’s Kingdom.  He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven.  He is alive today, at the right hand of God the Father and in His people through His Holy Spirit.

  • We are saved by God’s grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ, and anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing and obeying Jesus as their Savior and Lord.  The Holy Spirit, convicts, regenerates, justifies, and adopts us as we enter the Kingdom of God through a “spiritual birth,” becoming God’s sons and daughters.

  • The Holy Spirit comes to live in and cleanse the believer, empowering him/her to live a holy, forgiving, and loving life. The supernatural works of Christ are for today just as in the Bible. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to believers that they might have power to be witnesses of Christ, and live a life of obedience and supernatural power.  The gifts of the Holy Spirit are to be activated in the believer’s life for the building up of the individual believer and the church.

  • The victorious, work of Christ on the cross and through His resurrection provides freedom from the power of satan, including freedom from sin, lies, sickness, torment and every other evil work, to those who repent and obey Christ’s commands.

  • The Church, also known as the Congregation, Called-out ones, and the Body of Christ, consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ.  True faith is demonstrated by hearing and doing His word.

  • As the Body of Christ, we are called to:

    • Be disciples, by learning to hear and obey the voice of God

    • Develop a personal life of intimacy with God through prayer, Bible study, and obedience.

    • Meet together regularly and encourage one another to a life of worship, service, love, holiness, and forgiveness.

    • Enforce the victory of Christ in the spiritual war by destroying the works of satan.

    • Carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom on earth as it is in heaven by being His witnesses.

  • The Lord Jesus Christ will return visibly in power and glory for His overcoming people. There will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting death.
