Wellspring Youth Ministry

Our Weekly Meeting Time: Wednesdays @ 7 pm

Teens in grades 6-12 meet at Wellspring on Wednesdayevenings from 7-9pm. We engage in group activities, games, and discussion. Come join Pastor Brandon Welsh, along with his wife Elizabeth Welsh and other leaders, and a great group of teens.

In addition to our weekly meetings, teens attend various camps and youth events in and out of Alaska as opportunities arise. Our Vision:

Helping our teens to hear the voice of God, to find their identities in Him, and to continue the works of Jesus as they become young men and women; joining Wellspring Church’s overall vision to Encounter, Equip, Engage, Expand.

Our Mission:

That each student will encounter and experience our Living God, to know Him well, so that when something comes along to cause them to question their faith, they can draw on their own testimonies of things God has done in their lives that make that question absurd — like asking, “how do you know that your parents really exist?”

After the question “is God really here?” has been answered, we will foster a Scriptural foundation so that they have an answer to the next question: “Since I know God *is* really here , what does He want from me?” 

Next, we will provide them with a safe environment to practice and develop the spiritual gifts that God has already placed within them, so that when they understand what God’s calling on their life is, we want them to “know that they know that they know” they have what it takes to accomplish that mission, within the church and beyond: Encounter, Equip, Engage, Expand.

In all of these things, we want them to *be encouraged* and to know that whatever comes their way, God will be with them, and that all things are possible through Him.
