God loves children, and so do we!
Children have unhindered access to an open heaven, and this program has been created to teach and equip them to step into the presence of God. The Vision is to see kids in the arms of their Daddy, loving Him and experiencing His goodness; to have a natural outflow of faith and obedience; to walk in their identities with creativity, passion and love; to cause change in their families, their schools, their communities, and their world.
“Kids Carrying The Kingdom” is a Presence-based, God-friendly, Spirit-led Children’s curriculum designed to take our children on a journey where to encounter the Father’s love through Jesus Christ. They will discover their identity and be equipped and released to fulfill their “Royal Mission”… bringing Heaven to earth.
Each lesson imparts & reveals:
– Kingdom truths
– God’s love & power
– An opportunity and place to encounter God’s presence
Lesson plans include:
Scripture references, object lessons, dramas, “Heaven to Home” parent page, “Class Act” time for group activation, reproducible memory/color and activity pages.
Classes are available for children from 4-12 years old. After family worship time during the Sunday morning service, all children are given a special blessing and impartation and released to attend their classes. Classes are separated into two age groups, 4-7 years and 8-12 years.
Nursery is available for ages 0-48 months. Once the children turn the age of 4, they graduate to children’s ministry. The nursery provides a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where babies and toddlers are cared for and prayed for. Nursery is available on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings on the first floor.
Ministry Opportunities
The children’s and nursery ministries are always in need of passionate, energetic people to join the teams and lead God’s kids into His presence. Teachers and caregivers are scheduled for up to one month at a time, on a rotation. Training, materials, and background checks are provided for all of our children’s and nursery ministry volunteers.

-Nursery caregivers (We love parents and grandparents! They make great nurturers!)

Leadership Team
Brittany Tompkins– Director of Children’s Ministries. She and her husband, Jeremy, oversee the teaching and spiritual development of children and the scheduling of teachers and children’s events at Wellspring Church.
Michelle Dooley- Director of Nursery. She and her teen helpers oversee the set up of nursery during our services, providing a safe, clean and fun environment for babies and toddlers.
Monica Lucas – Communications and Administrative Assistant. She assists the directors, communicates with parents, advertising for camps, and more.
