Vision
Children have unhindered access to an open heaven, and this program has been created to teach and equip them to step into the presence of God. The Vision is to see kids in the arms of their Daddy, loving Him and experiencing His goodness; to have a natural outflow of faith and obedience; to walk in their identities with creativity, passion and love; to cause change in their families, their schools, their communities, and their world.
Nursery
Nursery service is available for infants through 48 months. The nursery is open on Sunday morning from 11:00 am to the end of service. Children are watched and cared for in a loving environment while being blessed and prayed over by the staff. Our nursery room offers a place for nursing mothers to sit while observing and listening to the service.
“BiG” Classes:
“BiG” classes are available for children from 3-12 years old. After family worship time during the Sunday morning service, all children are given a special blessing and impartation and released to attend their classes. Classes are separated into two age groups, 3-7 years and 8-12 years.
Our Children’s Director, Brittany Tompkins, has selected Hillsong Kids “BiG” as our children’s ministry curriculum, new to us in Fall of 2010. “BiG” is a Children’s Ministry Curriculum, presenting Christ-centered, Bible-based teaching that is relevant to practical living and empowers children to lead and impact in every sphere of life. It is an interactive, multi-media curriculum that uses a large group/small group format to engage kids in worship and learning. Our children enter into a short time of energetic and engaging worship of their own before being presented with their “BiG Ideas” and separated into their smaller, age-appropriate groups for personal ministry and activities.
Ministry Opportunities
The children’s ministry is always in need of passionate, energetic people to join the team and lead God’s kids into His presence. Teachers are scheduled for one month at a time, on a rotation. Training, materials, and background checks are provided for all of our children’s ministry volunteers.

Leadership Team
Brittany Tompkins– Director of Children’s Ministries. She and her husband, Jeremy, oversee the teaching and spiritual development of children and the scheduling of teachers and children’s events at Wellspring Church.
Monica Lucas – Communications and Administrative Assistant. She assists the director, communicates with parents, advertising for camps, and more.
